Songwriting Workshop

Want to start writing your own songs but not sure where to start? Have a few ideas but struggling to get to the next point?

Join songwriting experts and Central West musicians Abby Smith (Smith & Jones) and Kris Schubert (Safety of Life at Sea) for a free day long hands-on workshop that will get your creative juices flowing. You’ll learn to unlock your creativity, manage your creative hurdles, and start creating the songs that are important to you. It doesn’t matter what the style, you’ll get loads out of this workshop and you’ll get to meet others from the Central West just like you.

Bring a song and your instrument (piano supplied) and learn the fundamentals of songwriting. You will have the opportunity to have your song reviewed and offered feedback to make your song even better. Suitable for those with some experience as well as those just setting out.

This workshop will be particularly useful for those considering entering the Regional Songwriting Contest for the first time.
