Join us at BMEC for a trip back in time to a 1940's radio studio for their evening programme. The night will feature live music from the 30's and 40s, as well as 2 radio plays: The Man in Black - A dark and eerie tale set during the first world war. As well as Errol Flynn's Middle Wicket - When struggling Australian actor, Alan Gillies, is invited to join the Hollywood Cricket Club he jumps at the chance to rub shoulders with Errol Flynn, Laurence Olivier and Boris Karloff and, with a bit of luck, use the old boys’ network to get a role that isn’t an English butler.  What he doesn’t bargain on is becoming involved, along with his girlfriend Myrtle, in a real life spy story.  Or learning how to bowl a googly.

Graeme Connors – My Lyrical Life – 50 Years On

‘My Lyrical Life’ the book, contains 217 songs from the Mackay artist’s pen, recorded by himself, or by artists including Slim Dusty, John Denver and Jon English, plus autobiographical reflections from various phases of his long, colourful career. The live show sees the APRA, ARIA and multi-Golden Guitar Award winner showcase the lyrical element of his career, particularly the story songs that he wouldn’t normally do with his big band at a festival.

ARIA award-winning children’s entertainer, Emma Memma, is bringing her brand new show Dance Island Party to Bathurst in April 2025! After dancing in productions around Australia, France, India, Canada, China and New Zealand, Emma joined Australian children’s entertainment group, The Wiggles in 2010, becoming the first female Wiggle in the main line-up. Emma has recently completed her PhD at Macquarie University combining all her passions, focusing on the affective and artistic integrations of sign language, dance and film editing. Currently, Emma is touring the nation and abroad with her new children’s entertainment venture ‘Emma Memma’, winning the ARIA award for Best Children’s Album in 2023. ‘Emma Memma’ features Emma and Deaf dancer and artist, Elvin Lam (Elvin Melvin) highlighting visual language for pre-schoolers and their family network to give them the skills to communicate through sign and gesture

An 80 minute, guaranteed feel-good night, expect plenty of laughs in the company of your mates, and some of the sassiest performers in town. Meet the most delightfully evil man alive, Mr Hyde. This ridiculous rendition of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novel, Jekyll and Hyde is retold by a team of charmingly ‘French’ performers with the help of the audience.
