Introducing Incremental Sponsorship

What Is Incremental Sponsorship?

Incremental Sponsorship is a flexible, low-risk way for businesses to support local events while increasing their visibility in the community. Instead of paying a large lump sum upfront, your business commits to subsidising a portion of ticket costs — and you’re only charged as tickets are actually sold.

From day one, your business is promoted as a valued sponsor on our website, through our socials and our digital marketing. You’ll get the benefits of early exposure, but you’ll only start paying when people begin purchasing tickets. You also decide how much you want to contribute and can set a clear cap on your total sponsorship spend.

How It Works – An Example:
Imagine a theatre production is coming to town with tickets priced at $60. You decide to sponsor $30 per ticket for the first 40 tickets sold — bringing the price down to $30 for patrons. That’s a maximum spend of $1,200. You’re advertised immediately as a supporter of the event, but you’re only charged incrementally as those tickets are purchased.

Why Incremental Sponsorship Makes Sense

In today’s economic climate, ticket prices can be the difference between someone attending an event or missing out altogether. By lowering the cost for patrons, you’re not just supporting the arts — you’re helping to ensure broader access to cultural experiences. That’s something your customers and community will remember.

Here’s what makes Incremental Sponsorship a smart choice for businesses:

  • No upfront payment required: Sponsorship costs are spread out over time and only triggered by actual sales.

  • Meaningful brand exposure: Your business is recognised as a supporter from day one, giving you immediate visibility — regardless of how many tickets are sold.

  • Control your budget: You set the maximum amount you’re willing to contribute, so there are no surprises.

  • Support your local community: This model makes sponsorship accessible for small and medium-sized businesses, not just big brands.

  • Authentic alignment: We do our best to match sponsors with events that reflect their values, services, or customer base — creating a more natural and effective partnership.

  • Tangible impact: Your support helps real people attend real events — families, students, or individuals who may not otherwise afford to go.

  • Tickets for your business: Depending on the amount of sponsorship, reward your staff (or yourself) with tickets to the performance.

A Win-Win Model

Incremental Sponsorship is designed to be a win-win. You help reduce financial barriers for audiences, support local artists and venues, and grow your brand in a way that’s visible, positive, and community-minded. It’s sponsorship that feels good — and does good.
