Join acclaimed screen actor Damian DeMontemas for an exclusive six-week acting for adults’ class at BMEC, commencing Monday, 11 May 2026.
Suitable for both emerging and experienced performers, this course will hone your skills across voice work, text analysis, and powerful monologues and duologues.
Through dynamic scene work and focused training in acting for the camera, you’ll build confidence, deepen your emotional range, and bring authenticity to every performance. Whether you’re returning to the stage or exploring acting for the first time, this is your space to grow, create, and connect.

About
Damian de Montemas has worked consistently in Australian Theatre, Film and Television since graduating from the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 1997. He has performed in some of Australia’s most well-known and successful productions, including “The Secret Life of Us”, “Somersault”, “Hounds of Love”, “Go-Karts” and “Underbelly a Tale of Two Cities” for which he won an AFI Award for best Supporting Actor.
Damian is a published author of the children’s book “Nancy and her bike”. A beautiful story of the dreams of a young narcoleptic girl told in rhyming verse.
In 2019 Damian moved with his family back to Bathurst, the town he grew up in. Whilst still pursuing his acting career and working busily as a Voice Over artist Damian is also hosting the afternoon programme ‘Live n Local’ on Bathurst’s 2bs radio station.

Please note that there will be no class on Monday, the 8th of June, due to King’s Birthday public holiday. An extra make-up class will be held on Monday, the 22nd of June instead.
