Evening Workshop: open to the general community

Get ready for a unique group experience that will energise, inspire and excite!

Taikoz presents PLAY TAIKO!, an exhilarating hands-on workshop where you’ll discover the power and joy of Japanese drumming. Presented by members of the Taikoz ensemble, this 90-minute session introduces you to the awe-inspiring taiko drum in an active, creative and fun way.

Taiko playing is more than music – it’s a full-body experience that helps reduce stress, boost fitness, and spark creativity.

No prior musical or taiko experience is needed – just bring your energy and enthusiasm and “let’s play!”

Participants should wear loose-fitting clothing and bring water. Taikoz will provide earplugs and bachi (drumsticks).
