Free Dance Workshop – For The Saturday Night Social

Dance Makers Collective’s (DMC) The Saturday Night Social takes inspiration from dances gone by, such as the dance hall era of the 1960s and 1970s, with a contemporary twist. DMC are excited to share with you, regardless of your style, a variety of tools and tactics to infect the dancefloor with group choreography. Imagine a brand new Nutbush, a flash mob, a simple and elegant partner dance, an infectious groove and other highly social, super danceable routines you can learn with ease and share with others in real time. We’re offering a free workshop to learn the moves, the rules of the game, that we will spring on patrons at The Saturday Night Social. The workshop is suitable for anyone who loves to dance. Whether or not you have a partner, no matter what dance you practice, this workshop is for you!

BMEC presents on screen this Disney classic for a whole new generation. Disney/Pixar’s 2001 monstrous hit, following the exploits of pals Sully, a loveable big blue behemoth, and Mike, a short wisecracking cyclops. Together, they are an extremely competent duo, safely extracting scares from contaminated human children - the screams are then used as an energy source to power the city of Monstropolis.
