“The soundtrack was electrifying and the performance so powerful and riveting, that I had to remind myself to breathe.” Audience Member

Silence pulls the Treaty conversation out from under the rug, slams it back on the table and invites you to make it a talking point!

This new dance work from Karul Projects and Blakdance is political, unapologetic, raw and very now.

Through the beating of a drum, bodies thrash through frequencies to uncover what lies in the Silence. The space in between. The conversations not being heard and the responses that are muted. White noise continues a 250-year old conversation.

We are living through a reckoning of human rights, conversations no longer limited to the fringes of society. In Australia, we are one of the only Commonwealth countries colonised by the British to not have a Treaty with the First Peoples of the land. We have marched across Country. We have had promises made and promises broken. Yet still no action. Still no resolution.

As Australia prepares to vote on The Voice to Parliament, this dynamic and exciting show is not to be missed.

“Silence is bold and uncompromising” Richard Bell
