The Yindyamarra Yambuwan project includes a film and a book of the same name. It is a means for Wiradjuri Elders, including Aunty Flo Grant and Uncle Stan Grant Snr to share Yindyamarra, a whole way of life in a single word, with a broader audience, both Wiradjuri and non-Wiradjuri. The project was put together as part of Bernard Sullivan’s PhD.
Galaridyi Bangamalagi – Sharing the Lachlan River, is a 2022 film by Uncle Ray Woods and Bernard Sullivan. It shows the fragile beauty of the lower Galari Bila (Lachlan River) flood plains, lakes and swamps in south west New South Wales. Narrated by Uncle Ray Woods speaking from the heart about the needs of Country. This area under threat from a loss of water due to competition from irrigation, mines, other upstream users, and the proposed raising of the Wyangala Dam wall.
