Composer and pianist Amanda Handel is joined by Michael Jackson on didjeridus and didjeribone for a contemporary classical program conjuring landscapes and other natural features of the Blue Mountains. Rich musical sonorities evoke the diversity of colour and texture found in the Gardens of Stone National Park. The multi-sectional structure and forward momentum of the music take the listener on a journey through this unique landscape of pagoda shaped rock forms. The music conjures the majestic views and the intricate details on the rock surfaces.
