Beloved Monster Drama Workshops
Join Local Stages and Beloved Monster this term for fun-filled afternoons of drama play and devising.
Classes start in WEEK 2 of Term 1.
Little Llamas - Mondays 4pm to 5pm Little Llamas - Mondays 4pm to 5pm For children in Kinder to Year 2, starting Monday 3rd February. Cost: $10/week.
About: Drama starts with learning to use your voice, your body, and to work together to make stories. Join us every Monday afternoon for ensemble-building games, story building activities, and character development, to build the foundations of theatre making and performance.
Drama Llamas - Tuesdays 4pm to 5pm For children in Years 3 to 6 Starting Tuesday 4th February. Cost: $12/week
About: Telling stories is the most powerful tool we have. Every Tuesday afternoon, we use play-building exercises and games to help shape our ideas and then put them into practice through story telling and performing. We build characters, develop movement, and foster friendships as we work together to create original stories for the stage.
Beloved Monster Ensemble - Tuesdays 4pm to 5:30pm starting Tuesday 4th February. For upper primary school/early high school children Cost: $15/week, to be paid in full at start of term (term 1 is 9 weeks, $135)
About: The Ensemble is a new program for experienced and skilled young performers to hone their skills as actors, writers, directors and theatre makers. The Ensemble will work towards creating and performing an original theatre show, which will premiere at BMEC in Term 3. Entrance into this program is by audition, during the January school holiday workshops. If your child is unable to attend these workshops to audition, please contact Nel or Heidi to make arrangements.
Once you have paid online you will be sent a receipt and a form to complete with emergency details for your child. Please complete this and return to us - or bring to the workshop. If you do not receive this or require a hard copy please contact box office on 6333 6161.
