Due to the current health situation with Covid-19 the Sydney Writers’ Festival has been cancelled but the local aspect of the festival with many of the local sessions will go ahead. 

The Festival will open at 5.50pm on Friday 1 May with an official launch by Cr Monica Morse, followed at 6pm by a discussion about Books that have been published over the past year. This will be hosted by Jen Barry from Books Plus and Cade Turner-Mann. The festival will include live and pre-recorded sessions.
